Purpose

To align professional development for nurse educators to support the integration of critical
thinking into the classroom.

Program Objectives

At the completion of this program attendees will be able to:

1. Identify ways to integrate critical thinking in nursing simulation.
2. Integrate lessons learned from the RaDonda Vaught case to promote student critical thinking.
3. Discuss how the use of case studies as an active learning strategy to facilitate critical thinking.
