Infusion RN New

Pride Health is hiring an Infusion RN for a client in Brewster, NY! (Contract)

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8:30am-5:00pm)
Contract: 3 month contract
Pay Rate: $40-45/hour

Specific Duties:
- The infusion registered nurse will provide direct nursing care to patients receiving IV and subcutaneous infusion therapies.
- Performs pre-infusion patient assessments; initiates and maintains IVs and central lines access; administers and monitors chemotherapy, biologic therapies, and subcutaneous medications
- Monitors for and manages adverse reactions; documents all care in the electronic medical record (Epic); provides patient education r/t infusion treatments
- Collaborates with providers and team members, and maintains a safe, clean and compliant infusion environment.

Must have qualifications/experience:
- Active RN license
- BLS Certification
- IV insertion experience
